The local markets are an excellent source of the regions delicious produce.

Thursday          Libos – near Fumel – cheaper and more varied than other markets
Friday               Prayssac – super and local
Saturday          Cahors –  great setting in the square
Sunday            Montcuq – charming
                         Issigeac – If headed towards Bergerac on Sunday

Markets run from 8.00am – 12.30pm, it is advisable to arrive early for good fish,  local wild mushroom traders and a plentiful selection.

There are also a number of ‘Vide Grenier’ (carboot sales), Brocantes, night markets and local speciality food markets during the summer.  They are advertised with the local tourist office in Prayssac.
